Since 2021, the Zamfara government has closed nearly 75 secondary schools due to unrest.

The children from these schools no longer attend school. The government, in my opinion, should strive to relocate them.

Some of the indigenes  who are enrolled in school in Cyprus confront numerous difficulties. They appear to have been forgotten by the state  government.

Although studying abroad can be quite expensive, it is unfortunate that the government has abandoned these students at this point.

 When will the government open schools that are shut down ?

Bandits now run parallel government.

If I may say so, there were plenty of police officers throughout the long stretch of road.

Police officers were scattered throughout the road, stopping automobiles at random for inspection. Just by being present along the route, they would dissuade criminal activity.

Every other road that has been labeled dangerous requires a significant police presence.

It is reasonable to hire 10,000 police officers yearly. We have the choice to raise the number.

It takes consistency to fight crime.

Criminals are not supposed to be smarter than law enforcement.

If a place or area has a reputation for being notorious, the government should deploy police officers there permanently to deter or combat crime.

Most of the time, however, this is not the case.

The difficulties posed by the poor road network are terrible. Some of the roads that are under the control of the local government are not maintained.

The difficulty of driving on the terrain has a significant impact on productivity.

A lost man hour on such roads may have been put to better use.

I believe the issue arose when local government was abolished.

The States have cornered local government funding.

The trunk A road has not received any attention from the government. I have no idea when they will start paying attention to the roads that are supposed to be maintained by local and state governments.

Some of these deadly roads, if not all of them, could be fixed if we could go back in time and place everything in its proper perspective.

Why Peter Obi May not win...

if the upcoming election was held on social media. No one could dispute the fact that Peter Obi would win the race.

The issue I have with this is that some of these Obi fans may stay in their cozy homes on election day, but they still want their candidate to win.

While the voting is taking place, some of them will be playing football on the street. Additionally, I'm positive that some of them lack voter id.

Social media or digital networks cannot win elections.

If just fifty percent of the supporters of Obi turn out to vote.

He might be headed toward succeeding the current president in a democratic election.

Increase in Airfares

It is no longer  news that airline tickets have skyrocketed in price.

Some foreign airlines  have increased air tickets by 282 percent, and passengers are paying exorbitant prices for domestic flights.

How frequently would the diasporas now be coming to  the mother land..?

Lagos to Abuja now cost #154000.  How many people could afford that?

The roads are "risky LY" risky .Rail line is direct route to captivity..

Kuje Prison jail break reports out

Following the invasion of the medium-security prison facility in Kuje and presidential orders for thorough investigations and reports to be made in order to stop frequent jail breaks,

The findings are now available for review and final decision-making by the presidency.

Unfortunately. This is not the first time prison  have been broken into..

If the necessary lessons had been learned, there wouldn't be another prison break.

 

Vote buying

Vote buying has been a practice from the beginning of time.

Politicians that believe they have to win an election with a "do or die" mentality will do anything to gain or hold onto power.

Giving money in exchange for votes is done without the slightest shred of decency...

If we don't take strong action to stop vote buying, our fledgling democracy might stay that way.

Those that were arrested by EFCC in the just concluded election in Osun would be left off the hook.

I am not really sure if anybody has been prosecuted for electoral offences ...

The effects of vote buying are numerous: It would not allow for transparency thereby allowing wrong individuals to be in the corridor of power.

Manufacturer Association of Nigeria threatened to shut down

 Nigeria manufacturers associations have threatened to shut down because of the high cost of diesel, the inconsistent supply of power, and the numerous taxes.

The fact that most manufacturing companies have since moved to bordering countries is no longer news.

The handful that are still around are battling to stay in operation. They also face difficulties with access to foreign currency.

Unbelievably, the economy is in trouble, and the government appears to be struggling.

What's the next step for us?

Governance is about finding solutions to problems, and if the government doesn't deal with these urgent problems, the consequences will not be pleasant.

If the economy is not restored, there may be further job losses after the current ones.

They were aware that we have universities here in Nigeria.

However, they decided to seek foreign education in far away Ukraine

Nigerians students studying in Ukraine would now be enlisted into Nigeria universities due to ongoing war in that region..

They have never experienced strike action by their lecturers , how will they blend into our system.

Some of the presidential aspirants are not really careful about their academic certificates.

It is either they forget it in a beer parlour or rats ate it up.

It is always an issue during electioneering .Certification is relevant, but I do not think it  could depicts candidates   level of intelligence.

People needs some levels of education and political will to govern ..

Whole bible deliverance church has acted contrary to the name of the church. The pastor and his cohorts locked total of 77 people in the church basement .

They were locked up for six months, while they were awaiting the "rapture".....

I am not really sure the pastors children and family are parts of the  spiritual prisoners who have been brain washed to think like an animal.

A pastor who claimed to be acting according to the bible must have authored his own bible .I do not think he is referencing the bible we all read.

Religion is still the opium of the people and many lives had been destroyed because of spiritual ignorance .

It is true that Akeredolu and the wife shed tears or cried at the funeral, it could have been better if adequate security measures was put in place to prevent the carnage.

No amount of tears will bring them back to life, but political will on the path of those who opted to serve the masses. They have the duty to fight  criminality to a standstill to forestall recurrence and give hope to the family of the deceased.

What  security measures has been put in place since the incident occurred.?

We cant continue to do the same thing and expect the same result.

How can we vote for a stingy man, Father Mbaka said referring to Peter Obi . Peter Obi left a lot of money in the treasury after his tenure.

Now, a clergy man could call him unprintable names because he is good manager of resources. Those that are not stingy brought us to where we are now....

He even vowed that he will close his ministry if Obi become Nigeria president.

I don't understand position of religious bodies in politics. Indirectly religious bodies are supporting corrupt individuals and despising good ones.

Deadly excursion

Children likes going on excursion . Obviously, learning does not end in the classroom . The only challenge I have with children on excursion , is the carelessness of teachers that are supposed to be on guard during the exercise.

More often than not, they derelicts in their duty of ensuring harm does not come to any of the children during excursion.

Pupils from this school were to visit Olumo rock in Abeokuta . We boarded the same train.

I expected their teachers to have informed them that they needed to mind the gap between the train and the platform. Not only informing them but to ensure that they embarked and disembarked the train safely 

I was really mad when one of the pupils, oblivious of the gap , trying to disembarked, nearly broke his leg ..   .. I felt like slapping someone .....What nonsense.

School authority should stop taking children out if they can't guarantee their safety.

A five year old got drowned for like thirty minutes during swimming lesson..

The poor boy died while his teachers were chewing gum and chatting away....

Politicians are very careful during this period, , though it was reported that Governor Oyetola and the principal suspect are cohort .He wouldn't want to do anything that would be inimical to his political ambitions .

The suspects alleged  in the murder  of Timothy Adegoke wouldn't have thought in their wildest imagination that they will be arrested.let alone appear in court.

Rule of law should be upheld . If offenders are prosecuted according to the law of the land and appropriate punishment meted out .Crime would definitely be reduced in the society .

War in the South East

By the time South East finally settle in violence, it would be clear to all that happenings in Northern Nigeria is a childs play ..

How many police stations are yet to be razed by fire?  They detest policemen with passion and whenever and wherever they see them, they went for their jugular.

Society that unleash terror on those who have the duties to protecting them is a failed society.

They are unknown gunmen, but some people know them .Just like the bandits, they have sponsors and government knows who their  sponsors are.

INEC official was killed in one of the Eastern state for carrying out his legitimate duties.

The unknown gunmen as they are called are resilience and may not stop until they achieved their aims.

Since government of the day is easily overwhelmed and they appear incapable of quelling any insurrection.

They can call for peace meeting with the warring youths or at most arrest their sponsors since they know them.

Children on deadly excursion.

 

Some school children were caught travelling on a wooden boat without life jackets.

I could only describe this exercise as an acts of tempting God..

The school authority has goofed and they needed to be reprimanded .

Exposing lives of our innocent children to danger is unthinkable  and is the height of barbarity .

There should not be a repeat of this careless acts 

Government has not done welll security wise

A student that fails mathematics and English can not claim to have  done well in school.. 

Nobody in government or any administration can claim to have met or surpass expectations of the people that voted them to power 

Security of lives and property is the core responsibility  of government ...

People would need to be alive in order to enjoy public infrastructure built by the government.

A lot of pressure was mounted on the presidency before they could accept to tag bandits as terrorist

Bombing of  train is a terrorist act . How many are these terrorist ? Are they more than the population of our military men?

After the callous attack on the Kaduna bound train , they still had the effrontery to attack a train station .

Government has failed abysmally in taming insecurity and preventing crime in the society.

Leadership position is a sensitive one, those who lacks capacity to deliver should  bow out. 

High cost of diesel and likely loss of jobs..

How many manufacturers will survive  the regime of high cost of diesel? .Before the price of diesel went up, many of them have parked up.

Some of them have relocated their factories because the environment is not conducive. 

 Media houses are also feeling the heat due to nature of their business .

Government may not have the wherewithal to create jobs, however, they only need to create conducive environment for business to thrive.

That should be the focal point of any healthy administration .If diesel skyrocketing price is not checked, then, there would be massive job loss and consequently increase in crime and criminality .

Energy is as important as oxygen we breathe in .

Whatever it would take to restore power and make diesel and Pms readily affordable should be embraced by government.

There should be strong political will to put things in the right perspective ...

We need selfless leaders  in our country ..

The culture of taking picture or recoding  when people are in dire strait leaves much to desire.

We are gradually loosing our sense of emotions  as human .. People prefers to take picture than  rescuing accidents victims...

Some of the victims of recent bank robbery attack  could have been rescued if help had come to them on time.  Citizens would rather mind their business than taking accidents victims to hospital .

Our emergency agencies needed to be resuscitated and citizens needed to be re assure that they will not get into any trouble by assisting accidents victims or gun shot victims .

Police authority play a very hostile role in all this, they look for any opportunity to extort people who are trying to be human by assisting victims .

Citizens become enervated and they are discourage whenever they are privilege to assist victims.

Bamise may still be alive after she was pushed down from that BRT bus. Nobody came to her rescue ..

The difference between human and animals is emotions .If  care is not taken , gradually we become emotionless and our humanity would be gone..

God never fails

He started the church in the year 2000, and up till date, the total number of congregants are 15..

This pastor that was rescued from commiting suicide because his church refuses to grow . He said, he has done everything humanly possible to grow the church .

He had fasted, prayed, evangelize., yet the church remain the same.

The best partner anyone could have is God. When God told you he is coming, he may not come until after 25 years like the case of Abraham .

Someone said it is because the man build the church for pecuniary gains. I disagree with that school of thought..

Life can be frustrating if one is not growing ,however , God is a God of time and seasons and He can't be stampeded to answer prayer.

Patience and long-suffering are the two gift the pastor should ask for.

His time would come........God never fails..

Surge in unemployment rate

Unemployment rate among youths in 2019 was 17.6 percent. It has since leap to 40 percent.

That is a time bomb, you know. 

 Unfortunately this is an era where our values system has been eroded.  The culture of hardwork is dead and buried 

Money makes the world go round, that is true. That is money  made legitimately.

The armed men that robbed banks in Uromi carried sacks of money on their back . They could use the same energy to carry bags of rice in Ido market in order to earn legitimately.

Government will definitely not provide jobs for everybody, but they could provide enabling environment for business to thrive.

Power supply is erratic and fuel has become gold .  How would small business survive under such a harsh condition..

You will see it written at every police station you visit that bail is free. Has it ever be  free?

If the school authority had been alive to their responsibility of promptly fixing failing structures. Heritage would still be here.

Unfortunately, we don't learn from history .Event keep repeating itself as if we are dumb heads.

It is natural for whoever, whether soldier or police to want to be alive and not to die.

As gunmen are having field day in Ibadan,  Enugu was having its own baptist of fire in the hands of criminals .

A police officer escaped by the whiskers after three of his colleagues were gun down  .

We may blame our law enforcement agencies some of the time but truth be told, they are human being.

Criminal psychology goes deeply into what makes people commit crime and their reaction after they are caught.

It is amazing how quiet and gentle,  some of the kidnappers paraded by police  appear to be after their arrest.

If for any reason, you ask them why they get involved in heinous crime like kidnapping, the likely answer you will get from them is that, Devil caused it..

How many criminals are really pushed by the Devil to commiting crimes ..

Devil would have many questions to ask them for lying against him..

Some society that are not as "Godly" as ours have low crime rate.

Does that mean, Devil reside in society that claim to be Godly and leave the other alone..

Without an option of fine. The 23 year old would spend the rest of his life behind bars . That was the pronouncement of an unbiased judge that presided over a rape case.

Administration of justice appropriately have got a lot to do in sending strong signals to would be offenders 

We will not continue to slap rape offenders on the wrist if we are serious about nipping it in the bud ..

Sexual offences is  deadlier  than robbery .People who lost their property to armed robber,  could get the property back.

People that are violated, most time never recover from the experience. Some have even gone ahead to commiting suicide.

It is an issue that should be handle with all seriousness , if we want to have sane society.

My view on Capital punishment

The last time prisoners on death row were executed was in 2013.The death warrants of those prisoners who had been convicted, was signed by the then governor of Edo state, Adam Oshiomole. 

I could remember, he threatened to sign more and he was quoted to have said, that he was simply carrying out God instructions by so doing..

Former president Goodluck Jonathan during his tenure appealed to governors to sign death warrants in order to decongest the prison.

There are instances we may need to apply full wrath of the law, including application of capital punishment.

Capital punishment is not meant to serve as deterrent as far as I am concern, having said this .

Whoever think he has the right to premeditatedly kill, has lost his own right too to live .

Those who have the mandate  to sign should not hesitate to do so..

 It is a wonder...

But a negative one for that matter..

Things we watch on TV are becoming real.

Devil is manipulating our youths  who does not know their right from the left into commiting heinous crime.

Don't tell me you have not heard about three young men that killed a girl they called a girl friend for ritual purposes..

Why on earth will a 19 year old be so desperate to become inordinately rich..

As they interred the remains of Timothy Adegoke.What will be going on in mind of his assailant .

You killed a soul because you want to be relevant or what?

You make his  children fatherless  and the wife a widow ..

The aged patents, pillar of support pulled down in his prime ..

Why is the heart of man dangerously wicked?

Why ?

May his killer never see mercy of God ...

I salute Nafdac courage to ban Sacchets alcoholic drinks, but...

Alcohol in sachets or small bottles is affordable and easily accessible.Consumers of these drinks could find it anywhere at any time .I also believe cost of producing these alcoholic drinks is minimal and the profit margin is good...

 Nafdac in conjunction with Ministry of Health is now ready to ban sales and production of these alcoholic beverages.

Most of the accidents on our roads are traceable to carelessness on  the path of driver under the influence of "pelebe"  .

More often than not they want to " dirty their eyes" so that they can see "clearly" while driving.

Removal of these poison from the market will reduce accidents on our roads by 80 percent.

Nafdac have taken the right steps. Having said this, manufacturers have agreed to cut production by 59 percent before total removal .

What does this imply ?

Job loss is imminent ..

Insecurity; Kings are not safe eiher..

Kings in the early days are well respected .The Yoruba call them" igba keji Orisa" i.e second in command to the deity.

That was then,  now kings are are soft target for kidnappers and assassin's. .Oba Ayinde Odetola, the Olu of Agodo was not only killed, his remains was burnt to ashes.

Many first class Oba have been abducted and were released after ransom was paid...

Of a truth, some of these Obas hobnob with people in power, and they fail to tell them the truth .

Now that the chicken has come home to roost..

They must be ready for any eventuality.Unfortunstely , government of the day can not guarantee their safety.

They really have big issues to contend with!

How to stop NURTW factional war

We were told that both of them have been arrested .To be free sooner than later .

The two factional leaders of NURTW , Kunle Poly and Sego have been  invited by the police .

This is not the first time peace have been breached by these men .Many innocent people have been killed in the past. Whenever there was clashes between the warring group .

Those who are suppose to deal with the situations decisively are the political class that use them as  political mercenary in winning election .

Lawlessness in our clan is legendary and unfathomable.

We keep doing the same thing and expect different result.

Late governor Abiola Ajimobi sacked factions of NURTW headed by Tokyo and Auxilliary in Ibadan and there was peace .

Lack of courage on the path of Sanwo Olu to do the needful is condemnable.

Let him sack the warring factions if we want peace to reign .

Unfortunately , Baba so pe  is the order of the day.

Who is the baba?

Letter to Pastor Kumuyi

The letter was lengthy. It was written by a concern member of the church to the General Supretendent. He was not absolutely vitriol , but I think he needed clarifications on the church past doctrinal stand  which the church is bending.

Deeper life bible church preaches holiness within and without and the the church have grown over the years .

Pastors are men of God, they are not God , so they could make mistake. If your pastor says you should not watch TV at a time and later say you can watch TV, but you must be careful of the program you view on TV.

That is not oppression .....  Some of the issue raised was the invitation of gospel artiste to the church rather than singing of Hymn which they are used to...

Change is constant and bending of certain rules as long as it is not unholy does not make God angry .

Above all, a good disciple will not bring certain issues to the public glare in order to gain cheap popularity .That is unchristian .

Issues like this can be trashed in the church meeting ...

It is just my view..

NURTw clashes, a recurring decimal.

Clashes between factions of NURTW has become a recurring decimal . .It was a bloody Thursday as residents and market women in Idumota and  environs ran helter skelter for cover...

By the time the dusk settled, four people were dead  while scores were injured in the melee.

Who armed these young men? Where did  all the guns come from?

Most of these guys are tools in the hands of politicians and that is one of the reasons why nobody has been jailed for breaching peace in the society .

Those that were killed, had just died in vain. 

I am too sure nobody would be prosecuted and that is the reason why they think they are above the law ..

It is rather unfortunate

What should befall a proprietor that abducted a child in Kano

A deprave proprietor who suppose to be a role model ended up stuffing life out of this young angel for monetary gains...

If teachers who are suppose to take care of  our children can't be trusted, it means we are in serious trouble.

How do you explain what led an evil proprietor to kidnap and killed a child left in his care, 

He had confessed to the offence..Law should take its course .  Our values system has been eroded , people can do anything because of money .

People like this man are not suppose to be alive..

 What is it that we have not seen or heard.

Audit report shows that 178,459 arms were missing from police amoury.

Topping the list of missing arms is AK 47 rifles, 88,078 AK 47 have developed legs and walk away.

Government is fighting insecurity on one hands, on the other hands , they were equipping criminals with arsenals of wars.

Nigeria we hail thee....

Investigation has been launched into how those arms disappear from the amoury.

Nigeria is being run aground and we hope there will be some pieces left after 2023.

Vandals roasted while attempting to steal electrical cables.

 

Ready to make money by hook or crook. A vandal was electrocuted while trying to steal electrical cables.

Vandals are enemies of the state and they are driven by greed .

Resident woke up to see the roasted meat dangling on the pole.

Whistle blowing and crime reduction

Intelligence gathering will enhance the work of law enforcement agencies, if they are dead serious to fighting crimes.

Now, if you report to law enforcement someone who does shady business .You will be shock that your identity will be reveal to the suspect and the life of whistle blower will be endanger.

If you see something, say something.....

That is a slogan ...

Police authority most of the time are not discreet with information . Most of these criminals are gentle men in their neighborhood .Nobody knows what they do for a living. You will just discover they live big, with no traceable source of income.

Out society does not encourage whistle blowing . unfortunately, for effective policing, intelligence gathering is key .

There are individuals that lives in the outskirts of the cities that are privy to certain information that will help law enforcement agencies, but unfortunately, law enforcers could not be trusted 

It is a sorry case....

Kidnapping along Lagos -Ibadan Express way.

Incidences of kidnapping along Lagos -Ibadan Express in the past few weeks is an indication that South-West which was adjudged the safest region is being infiltrated by these criminal elements .

Kidnappers in military uniform had a field day on that road, there was no one to challenge them .Probably the commissioner of police in Ogun state is on sabbatical leave.

If proactive measures is not put in place to drive these criminals further into the forest .Then there  will be trouble in the South West.

Lagos Ibadan Express way is one of the busiest road, and if  government can't guarantee safety of travellers on that roads, the effects can be better imagined than experience.

The hot spot has been identified by those who escaped by the whiskers .I expect government to swing into action and ensure there is no recurrence of what happened some days ago

Newly purchased train on fire

 

One of the newly acquired train was on fire and it is unfortunate that there is no single fire extinguisher on the train to quench the fire.

If motorist could be penalized for not carrying extinguisher in their vehicle, how much more a commercial train.

This is rather unfortunate  and it speaks volume of the handlers of the train services.

Some fellow would wake up from their bed ...

May be because they are idle and want to be busy and popular ..

They will come on social and begin to tell us how they went to hell and people they met there ......

Their spurious claims can't be validated .Among the people they saw are popular pentecostal church leaders ..

One of the these Mummmy G.O  claimed she saw some notable men of God in hell....

Social media has done more damage than good .It allow people who have no root to spew all kind of nonsense..

If those men are really on their way to hell..

Why didn't God correct them himself, why would God wait for social media prophet to carry out the assignment.

Road signage vandalised for economic reasons..

 Vandals are enemies of the  state. Removal of road signage without recourse to social and safety implications is insane..

They will end up selling it as scrap ....

This is bad and condemnable..

Tribute to Olubadan ..

People came out in large numbers.Every comments passed was positive about the late Olubadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji , Aje oguguluso.

It is interesting that every mortal would die and when they die, they die naked. Their houses, money and assets are left behind.

I am not really sure Nigeria political class are aware of this fact .All the stolen funds stashed abroad and several houses built both at home and abroad must be buried with them when they finally died..

The late Oba lived well and he would be remember for good .

Endings are not always bad for people who imparts their generations , not for thieves in political office ..

Our economy will boom if political class stop stealing and start building. Above all, they should remember that someday, they will leave everything they have stolen behind ..

Life is not what they think it is......

It is not all about amassing wealth at the expense  of the masses..
