We call them Almajiris , they swoop around the privileged for whatever they could get off them
They are suppose to be in schools , unfortunately they are on the street scavenging and begging for alms .
Government look away, although it is their duty to see to it that education is made compulsory at primary level.
From scavenging and begging for alms, they graduated into cattle rustling and now banditry .
The Yoruba have a sayings , If your neighbour is eating bad insects and you refuse to call him to order .The discomformt that will emanates from his experience will give you sleepless nights.
