Why Sanusi was removed.

Deposition of Lamido Sanusi as the Emir of Kano was contested in some quarters.

The former Emir is full of activism and nobody could take it away from him.

Can Allegations of financial impropriety leveled against him  be substantiated?

Some leaders of thought have headed to the court to contest the dethronement. Sanusi is known to speak truth to power.
