Covid-19 ; Any lesson learnt by our leaders?

A little lesson must have been learnt. It is not likely that they would wait for God to come down and build new hospital and equipped old one for us.It is also very likely that as soon as the storm is over.

They will forget everything and revert back to status quo. If all high profile carrier of covid-19 virus could be treated here without going abroad, it only indicates that we have the technical know-how, but unfortunately, health institutions are neglected .

The world is convulsing by covid-19

The world is convulsing, not by war.Corona virus is still shaking the world.

Wise men came together to find solutions to the epidemic.

While some infected people are being healed of the virus, fraction of infected are loosing the battle.

Powerful countries are overwhelmed by the disease.

The best approach to solving this problem is prevention by staying at home.

How many of our hospitals are well equipped to combat the dreaded virus? Some of them are dispensary.

Prevention is better than cure.

Covid-19 should be stopped from further spreading.

Total lock down to fight corona and hunger effect on masses.

Many people are clamouring for total lock down.

To further curtailed the spread, it must be total lockdown.For advanced countries they are really up to the task.

Some of the countries give palliatives to their citizens to cushion the effect of stringent stay at home order.

Developing country like ours will have to be very diplomatic in implementing complete lockdown directive.

The government should be ready to give incentives to poor masses. Hunger kills faster than coronavirus.

Asking people to stay at home is good, do we really have what it takes to fight the disease effectively.

Why All attention on Corona Virus .

Have you noticed? All attention is now on corona virus.

Nobody is talking about insecurity, BokoHaram, ISWAp etc.

Why sudden shift in attention.

The answer is simple. There are troubles and there are bigger troubles.

Police authority enforcement unit moved swiftly yesterday to ensure churches comply with government directive on keeping social distance and no gathering of masses to weakened menace of covid-19.

The same energy they used in disrupting church service is what they should use when they are call to foil robbery and kidnapping .

Governance is all about people, the well being of the masses should be of paramount importance to people at the helms of affairs.

One would have expected leaders of the party to shelve the program, but they went ahead to have it.

Corona virus is spreadng fast all over the world and the same government that encourages us to keep social distance are the one breaking the rules.

Although, Governor Seyi Makinde had apologized, it is important we don't jeopardize the health of our people because of political gains.

Execution of 4 rapist in Indian and women right.

Six men were arested after a woman was molested sexually in a bus.The victim was raped to death.

There was a public outrage and condemnation of such dastardly act.

After eight years of trial, four of the offenders were convicted and executed.

Right of women and children need to be protected.Capital punishment should be applied if it is going to reduce or stop violations of women right.

Government all over the world should not pay lips service to issues affecting children and women generally.

Why Corona virus is a child play

              WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?

A young child attended church service with the mother.

It occurred to the woman after several attempt to reach her child that something bad has happened .

The little boy has disappeared, and his whereabouts is unknown till date.

Alpha Tunde was the suspect, he was promptly arrested and he has been in out of court as the trial progresses.

A church suppose to be a place of refuge, it is unimaginable how a little boy would disappeared into thin air without a trace.

No stone should be left unturned in this case, the case had been adjourned.

Justice must be served. 

Abule Ado explosion should be investigated.

Abule-Ado explosion is regrettable and one fire accident too many.

It was reported that a truck ran into gas chamber which later caused an explosion of high magnitude. Some other report revealed it was a case pipeline vandalism.

Whichever is the cause, it is painful that several lives and property were destroyed in the raging inferno.

It is important we learnt a lesson from this unfortunate incident.

If for any reason the cause of the accident is as a result of pipeline explosion, I think it is high time government stopped paying lips service to security of pipeline in order to keep vandals at arms length.

I once wrote about neglect by truck operators, some of this truck are not properly maintained and it is obvious they are accident going somewhere to happen.

All hands must be on deck to forestall recurrence .

It is a miracle not a ruse.

                             MIRACLES OR RUSE

It is a ruse, not a miracle. Religions are the opium of the people. Average churchgoers desire a miracle and they expect God to grant them at least one.

It has been observed over the years that churches, where miracles are experienced, have a large number of congregants compare to others that have less or non at all.

One would need to ask a pertinent question.What would make a man of God fake a miracle?

The whole essence of salvation is beyond a miracle. If we serve God because of miracles, then we don't know him.

Those pastors indicted for faking  miracles will have to clear their names, after all, nothing last forever .Lazarus was raised from dead, where is Lazarus now.

Service to God and humanity is the most important thing.

A School of thought believed people got the kind of leaders they deserve.If leadership is bad what about followership? How we go about selecting or electing those that manages our affairs go a long way to determine quality of life.

During electioneering, politicians sweet talk electorates to vote for them, they also go extra miles to induce them financially.

One is not really surprise when electorates file out to vote for highest bidders.


For those that want to vote for the candidates of their choice, sometimes they were compelled by use of force to vote for certain individual.

We will begin to get things right when we are ready to align with rules of decency and decorum.

Elections is not suppose to be a do or die affairs. In some clans, people see election as the opportunity exercise their franchise not otherwise.

Followers who elected bad leaders because of financial inducement pay heavily for their indiscretion.

A bad leaders would never think about fixing bad roads or providing basic amenities for the masses

This is to some extent strange and unimaginable.

Successive government have pump a lot of money into power sector, yet it remain comatose.

 Stopping  importation of generating set is tantamount to putting everyone in darkness and crippling our economy in totality.
