Why are we like this?

in the words of one the family of the abductees in the ill fated Abuja- Kaduna train service.

He said and I quote" Since government is ready to commence operations on Abuja Kaduna train corridor, without rescuing their love ones in captivity. They should be ready to crush members of the abductees families with the train. Because, they would sit on the track "  end of quote.

What an insensitive government...     The minister of transportation who should be more concerned was busy running in a stadium to convinced electorates that he is fit to run for president after obtaining 199 million naira nomination forms.

What kind of leaders are these ?

About 160 people are still in captivity with an addition of a new born baby and yet government is doing nothing to rescue the victims 

What kind of songs should we sing to this drumbeats.? 

Pastor beats his wife to stupor.

 

Another pastor "panel beats" his wife. The said pastor who is  the overseer of  Chapter of Grace  church lost his cool and descended on his wife .

I wonder what his next sermon would be.....

Pastor are suppose to be above board. It is unthinkable that this is happening ...

Someone needs to teach some pastors emotional intelligence. 

If everyone that is aggrieved get justice from the judiciary, definitely crime would be all time low ..

Laws suppose to be no respecter of anybody . Governor Oyetola wouldn't have  done otherwise than signing letter addressed to Ministry of Justice about allowing  Femi Falana chamber to represent the family of late Timothy Adegoke in an ongoing criminal case against his killers.

Politicians are very careful during this period, , though it was reported that Governor Oyetola and the principal suspect are cohort .He wouldn't want to do anything that would be inimical to his political ambitions .

The suspects alleged  in the murder  of Timothy Adegoke wouldn't have thought in their wildest imagination that they will be arrested.let alone appear in court.

Rule of law should be upheld . If offenders are prosecuted according to the law of the land and appropriate punishment meted out .Crime would definitely be reduced in the society .

War in the South East

By the time South East finally settle in violence, it would be clear to all that happenings in Northern Nigeria is a childs play ..

How many police stations are yet to be razed by fire?  They detest policemen with passion and whenever and wherever they see them, they went for their jugular.

Society that unleash terror on those who have the duties to protecting them is a failed society.

They are unknown gunmen, but some people know them .Just like the bandits, they have sponsors and government knows who their  sponsors are.

INEC official was killed in one of the Eastern state for carrying out his legitimate duties.

The unknown gunmen as they are called are resilience and may not stop until they achieved their aims.

Since government of the day is easily overwhelmed and they appear incapable of quelling any insurrection.

They can call for peace meeting with the warring youths or at most arrest their sponsors since they know them.

Nothing of substance can be achieve without strong political will. Mr President has the final option of quitting the stage when ovation seems to be the loudest.

Children on deadly excursion.

 

Some school children were caught travelling on a wooden boat without life jackets.

I could only describe this exercise as an acts of tempting God..

The school authority has goofed and they needed to be reprimanded .

Exposing lives of our innocent children to danger is unthinkable  and is the height of barbarity .

There should not be a repeat of this careless acts 

Government has not done welll security wise

A student that fails mathematics and English can not claim to have  done well in school.. 

Nobody in government or any administration can claim to have met or surpass expectations of the people that voted them to power 

Security of lives and property is the core responsibility  of government ...

People would need to be alive in order to enjoy public infrastructure built by the government.

A lot of pressure was mounted on the presidency before they could accept to tag bandits as terrorist 

Are they now convinced they are terrorist?

Bombing of  train is a terrorist act . How many are these terrorist ? Are they more than the population of our military men?

After the callous attack on the Kaduna bound train , they still had the effrontery to attack a train station .

It was the former president that was quoted to have said that asking this administration to fight terrorism to a stand still is like kicking a dead horse.

Government has failed abysmally in taming insecurity and preventing crime in the society.

Leadership position is a sensitive one, those who lacks capacity to deliver should  bow out.
