It is natural for whoever, whether soldier or police to want to be alive and not to die.

As gunmen are having field day in Ibadan,  Enugu was having its own baptist of fire in the hands of criminals .

A police officer escaped by the whiskers after three of his colleagues were gun down  .

He hid himself in a grocery store, describing his experience as being traumatized is an understatement. He was gasping for breath like a Salah  ram that escaped from prayer ground 

We may blame our law enforcement agencies some of the time but truth be told, they are human being.

As a matter of fact, there is no one that should be call " Okunrin meta" .

Government needs to empower our security men in order for them to stand against criminals  

And not to Japa ..

The role of government is key .Nigeria has become a threat to it's citizen .People can no longer sleep at nights with their two eyes close.

The police officer in question must have acted ultra vires..

"Wetin concern agbero with overload".  The Mapoly student who was harassed by a police officer for being in possession of contraceptives should go ahead and enforce her fundamental human rights .

She was locked up and detained for having contraceptives not contrabands . The police officer asked her to justify reason for having sex.

Policing the society is a serious business, u serious minded individuals have no business to be enlisted in police academy.

The singular reason crime rate is astronomically high . 

When  police  leaves their core jobs and choose to become   moral instructions  teachers , crime and criminality will remain unabated...

Criminal psychology

Criminal psychology goes deeply into what makes people commit crime and their reaction after they are caught.

The so call big men in our society, who have committed crimes which includes misappropriation of funds, murder, sexual misconduct knew that in a lawless society like ours, there is likelihood of them getting away with the crime .

It is amazing how quiet and gentle,  some of the kidnappers paraded by police  appear to be after their arrest.

If for any reason, you ask them why they get involved in heinous crime like kidnapping, the likely answer you will get from them is that, Devil caused it..

How many criminals are really pushed by the Devil to commiting crimes ..

Devil would have many questions to ask them for lying against him..

Some society that are not as "Godly" as ours have low crime rate.

Does that mean, Devil reside in society that claim to be Godly and leave the other alone..

Rape offences , deadlier than robbery.

Without an option of fine. The 23 year old would spend the rest of his life behind bars . That was the pronouncement of an unbiased judge that presided over a rape case.

Administration of justice appropriately have got a lot to do in sending strong signals to would be offenders 

We will not continue to slap rape offenders on the wrist if we are serious about nipping it in the bud ..

Sexual offences is  deadlier  than robbery .People who lost their property to armed robber,  could get the property back.

People that are violated, most time never recover from the experience. Some have even gone ahead to commiting suicide.

It is an issue that should be handle with all seriousness , if we want to have sane society.

My view on Capital punishment

The last time prisoners on death row were executed was in 2013.The death warrants of those prisoners who had been convicted, was signed by the then governor of Edo state, Adam Oshiomole. 

I could remember, he threatened to sign more and he was quoted to have said, that he was simply carrying out God instructions by so doing..

Former president Goodluck Jonathan during his tenure appealed to governors to sign death warrants in order to decongest the prison.

There are instances we may need to apply full wrath of the law, including application of capital punishment.

Capital punishment is not meant to serve as deterrent as far as I am concern, having said this .

Whoever think he has the right to premeditatedly kill, has lost his own right too to live .

Those who have the mandate  to sign should not hesitate to do so..

 It is a wonder...

But a negative one for that matter..

Things we watch on TV are becoming real.

Devil is manipulating our youths  who does not know their right from the left into commiting heinous crime.

Don't tell me you have not heard about three young men that killed a girl they called a girl friend for ritual purposes..

Why on earth will a 19 year old be so desperate to become inordinately rich..
