Rape offences , deadlier than robbery.

Without an option of fine. The 23 year old would spend the rest of his life behind bars . That was the pronouncement of an unbiased judge that presided over a rape case.

Administration of justice appropriately have got a lot to do in sending strong signals to would be offenders 

We will not continue to slap rape offenders on the wrist if we are serious about nipping it in the bud ..

Sexual offences is  deadlier  than robbery .People who lost their property to armed robber,  could get the property back.

People that are violated, most time never recover from the experience. Some have even gone ahead to commiting suicide.

It is an issue that should be handle with all seriousness , if we want to have sane society.

My view on Capital punishment

The last time prisoners on death row were executed was in 2013.The death warrants of those prisoners who had been convicted, was signed by the then governor of Edo state, Adam Oshiomole. 

I could remember, he threatened to sign more and he was quoted to have said, that he was simply carrying out God instructions by so doing..

Former president Goodluck Jonathan during his tenure appealed to governors to sign death warrants in order to decongest the prison.

There are instances we may need to apply full wrath of the law, including application of capital punishment.

Capital punishment is not meant to serve as deterrent as far as I am concern, having said this .

Whoever think he has the right to premeditatedly kill, has lost his own right too to live .

Those who have the mandate  to sign should not hesitate to do so..

 It is a wonder...

But a negative one for that matter..

Things we watch on TV are becoming real.

Devil is manipulating our youths  who does not know their right from the left into commiting heinous crime.

Don't tell me you have not heard about three young men that killed a girl they called a girl friend for ritual purposes..

Why on earth will a 19 year old be so desperate to become inordinately rich..

My eyes well up with tears .I  fought it from dropping.

As they interred the remains of Timothy Adegoke.What will be going on in mind of his assailant .

You killed a soul because you want to be relevant or what?

You make his  children fatherless  and the wife a widow ..

The aged patents, pillar of support pulled down in his prime ..

Why is the heart of man dangerously wicked?

Why ?

I cry for Timothy..

May his killer never see mercy of God ...

I salute Nafdac courage to ban Sacchets alcoholic drinks, but...

Alcohol in sachets or small bottles is affordable and easily accessible.Consumers of these drinks could find it anywhere at any time .I also believe cost of producing these alcoholic drinks is minimal and the profit margin is good...

 Nafdac in conjunction with Ministry of Health is now ready to ban sales and production of these alcoholic beverages.

Most of the accidents on our roads are traceable to carelessness on  the path of driver under the influence of "pelebe"  .

More often than not they want to " dirty their eyes" so that they can see "clearly" while driving.

Removal of these poison from the market will reduce accidents on our roads by 80 percent.

Nafdac have taken the right steps. Having said this, manufacturers have agreed to cut production by 59 percent before total removal .

What does this imply ?

Job loss is imminent ..
