Criminals elements are becoming more daring. In the  last couple of months, correctional facilities have been attacked and inmates set free by bandits.

Abolongo correctional center in Oyo came under attack some months ago,  it is now the turn of Jos correctional center.

Most of the attack were carried out by criminal elements in a bid to rescue some of their partners in crime who were held in those facilities.

Fortification of correctional center is a task that must be done. Adequate security should be provided by people in authority.

Reports of attack on Jos prison is still sketchy, we hope perpetrators are rounded off and made to pay for their crime.

Road rails removal by vandals: One of the causes of accident

Should we blame government for acts of vandalism perpetrated by unpatriotic and wicked followers?

 This among many questions is begging for answer,. Third mainland bridge is a long road covering about 11.8km .

More than 90% of the rail barrier meant to protect vehicles from falling off the bridge has been removed by vandals.

Now, the road are exposed to accident ......

Asking government to replace the railings without putting measures in place to check activities of vandals would be a fruitless effort.

The rails are removed for economic gain ,  the aluminum rails according to research are melted into pots  to be sold in the market.

Acaedemy bridge in Ibadan is also not spared, all the rails are gone..

We are our number one enemy!

In administration of justice, there should be equality and equanimity.

Burning and killings in Imo State

 A soldier was killed. That is bad enough . A reprisals was carried out, which led to killings and burning of houses and shops in Imo.

Commission of crime by those who are suppose to be law enforcers is a common knowledge .

An army  rascal would tell unarmed civilians that  he will kill and nothing will happen..

A lot of impunity , it looks as if they have no commander they report to ..

Killing a soldier in Imo was a dastard act, lt becomes more worrisome when soldiers who suppose to be guided by rules of engagement

threw caution to the wind and started unleashing terror on innocent citizens.. 

This acts is condemnable.and everyone found culpable should be punished...

Government have a lot to do in orientating men in uniform. Uniform does not confers power to do and undo on them   

They needed to be call to order....
