Unemployed youths should be conscripted..

If government is really serious about fighting banditry, it should not be a big deal.

Now, it is obvious that we are under police and the number of men enlisted in other security apparatus are not enough to combat crime effectively.

In a country where most of our youths are unemployed, government should conscripts some of them that are capable into armed forces.

We have financial muscles and human resources to prosecute this war. It is un heard off that some unscrupulous individuals would hold us to ransom.

It is also unthinkable that some few individuals would bring a sovereign nation to her kneel.

We have to wake up and do the needful.

Making bandits rich

The state of Insecurity in our Schools leaves much to desire.

Bandits struck and kidnapped many children and heavy ransom is placed on them.

Government all the time pays heavily to secure the release of these children thereby making the bandits rich.

These criminals use large chunks  from the proceeds of crime to buy ammunition and arms preparatory for further kidnapp.

Aside from the facts that these criminals have foreign back up and sponsors,  government directly or indirectly encourage them to continue in crime and criminality

If government can use part of the money given to bandits to strengthen our security architecture, then Insecurity will become a thing of the past.

Kidnapping has become lucrative by government action or inaction, paying lip service to stem it's tide will take us nowhere.

Leave Sheik Gummi alone

Sheik Gunmi good intentions has been misrepresented in many quarters.

For sometime now, he has been dialoging with bandits in order to ensure their captives are set free.

As far as I am concern, it is a commendable role and the Sheik deserve thumb up not castigations

Which one is better? To negotiate and set innocent children free or to allow them to die for nothing.

If government are on top of their game, we would not need Gunmis intervention, but it is rather unfortunate that we are where we are.

No one should blame Gunmi, rather he should be praised rather than being castigated.

Presidency talk tough on banditry.

Mr President is talking tough. Bandits have taken over the country.

People can no longer sleep with their two eyes close. Cost of foods is skyrocketing as farmers are too afraid to go to their farm.

If application of maximum force would solve the problem, government should not hesitate to bring these bunch of criminals to their kneels.

Enough is enough, it is high time government lived up to their responsibility of protecting lives and properties.

Abduction of school children both in Niger and Zamfara is unacceptable. Poor children are now paying huge price for leadership failure.

If government fail to provide lasting solution to Insecurity, then we would be sink as a nation.

Traffic offenders to loose their vehicles!

Traffic offenders in a  state like Lagos would have bitten more than they can chew. Every offences should have appropriate punishment.

You do not cut off your head because you have headache. In a developed country, traffic offenders are meant to pay heavy fines.

Deal of the dayLagos state government had secured court injunction to auction vehicles impounded for violation of traffic laws.

How reasonable is this decision?  It is unthinkable and primitive.

We should be able to differentiate between wickedness and deterrents. Government has no right to sell peoples car for violation of traffic offences.

Our style of governance sometimes is out of this world. For violating covid-19 protocols, a sitting governor pulled down a massive structure.

Why are we like this ? Do you know.
