He was barely fifteen years old when the judgement was passed.

Amnesty international want you and I to speak out against death sentence passed.

A juvenile should not be summarily executed.

Magai Matiop accidentally shot his cousin who later gave up the ghost.

The death sentence should be commuted to prison terms.

Any law that meted out capital punishment on young adult below 18 years should be repealed.

While some on lookers screamed bloody murder, others were indifferent.

They should have been handed over to law enforcement agencies. They took law into their hands. The allegation of phone theft ended their lives.

Jungle justice is only practise in a jungle .I know Africa is not a jungle, then, why do we practise it?

Those children could be reformed. Tony Rapu had reformed many wayward teenagers.

Africa leaders must wake up and take bulls by the horn .If all they live for is how to amass wealth, then it is a sorry case.

Someday, everyone would pay for their deeds.

He has not stolen anything or involved in robbery.

Alleged to have derogatorily spoken against holy prophet Mohammed.

Can a conventional court upturn the judgement of Sharia court?

If they can, something urgent must be done to reverse the judgement.

Capital punishment for such an offence in the 21st century is disturbing.

The man can be reprimanded, not eliminated.

As churches open in Lagos; Health protocols measures need to be enforced.

Churches are coming back.

Ten percent of churches with fairly large crowd open.

Mega churches, are strategizing.

Crowd control is of great essence in curtailing spread of covid 19.

It is axiomatic, some member may not necessarily comply with health protocols issues put in place.

Church may need to set up task force to compel erring members who would find it difficult to obey simple rule of engagements.

It is the new normal, whoever is not ready to comply may continue to worship online.

Nigeria Medical Associations Election Fraught With Violence.

 

Elections have become war in our clans.

Not only politicians are culpable now.

We have seen professionals like medical doctors, lawyers not being able to conduct simple election without violence.

Elections to a large extent has become a do or die affairs.

Although, every human being is a political animal, elections should be handle with more sense of decorum.
