Age barrier inconsequential in job .....

Propose bill to eliminate age barrier in job placement is laudable.

Most qualify individuals have been denied jobs due to age discrimination

More fruitful bills should be consider to ameliorate hard life citizens go through.

Experience should be a major criteria in job placement. Also, job placement should be on merit ñot on the catchment areas.

Putting round square in a round hole is the way to go.

Giving the jobs of a carpenter to a doctor would introduce decays into the system.

Merit should be the key word, age sex, state of origin are inconsequential. Nepotism would ground our economy and meaningful development would be elusive.

WAEC EXAM TO BE OR NOT...

The debate is going on and on..........

Students in terminal class may likely be deprived.

W.A.E.C is ready to conduct this year exam, but Nigeria government refused to give a nod.

Human race have never being this confused.

Government stand is commendable, but for how long are we going to be like this.

Let students write their exams under highly monitored covid-19 health protocols.

Organizer of the exam should reduce number of students that would sit down together to write the exam.

Many students that were ready for the exam may have been distracted .

A stitch in time saves nine.

Nigeria Doctors stopped from moving abroad.

Fifty eight medical doctors were stopped by the Nigeria Immigration officials from travelling abroad.

The reasons for stopping them was not known, but we were told only two of them have valid visas. Why didn't they allow the two that have valid visa to traveled? .

Large chunks of our doctors are relocating abroad, the reasons are not far-fetched.

Their counterparts in developed countries are well taken care of, they do not even know what is called industrial action.

Lagos state doctors are currently on strike. They call it warning strike.

Government have not met their demands, where are the protective clothing, their hazard allowance remain unpaid.

Why wont they relocate abroad?

Medical facilities are in shambles.

One of the doctors interviewed express her anguish, she was ready at all cost to ply her trade abroad.

It is their fundamental right to work wherever they choose.Rather than denying them opportunity to relocate.

Let them concentrate in building our health sectors and improve standard of living.

Extra-judicial killings, a case study of Offa robbery.

Do you still remember the image?
The image of the offa robbery scene where many innocent lives were wasted.

Gang of armed robbers invaded Offa and unleashed terror on innocent bank customers and passers-by.

Some of the suspects have been having their days in courts. Where are the others?

One of the suspects has revealed how information was extracted from him under duress. Micheal Adikwu and five others have been eliminated extra-judicially.

We have laws, but we choose the one to obey.

Many innocent people have been killed extra-judicially. If the police could kill as they desire, why do we have a court of law?

The court has the constitutional right to proclaim offenders as guilty.

Not allowing suspects to have their days in court may be another way to cover up some vital informations.

Killings of rival gang leader in Ibadan and perceived hopelessness among youths.

They would be satisfied now........

For taking  their pounds of flesh.

Cultist in Ibadan causes mayhem, and law enforcement seems to be docile.

Retaliatory attack was carried out on Abiola  Ebila on Sunday, his life was snuffed out.

The first casualty of the gang war was Moshood Ekugbemi who was killed  by faction loyal to Ebila.

Blame idleness for this senseless killings. Some of these youths are unemployed and can only see bleak future.

Politicians also uses them as political thugs and mercenary .

Cult related onslaught have been on since time immemorial, many teenagers and youths have paid the supreme price.

Society that failed to provide gainful  employment for his teeming youths   would have issue like this to grapple with,.
