Another democracy day is here.

Another democracy day is here.

Democracy is the government of the people by the people and for the people.

True democracy is center on people.

We only claim to practise democracy, in the true sense of the word we are far from it.

Rule of law is key if we are to uphold tenets of democracy. Some individuals are clearly above the law, they are sacred cows.

Nigeria is said to be the world poverty capital because of bad leadership.

There are no dividends of democracy, people have become poorer.

The bane of our economy is corruption, Nigeria is rich in natural resources but those that are saddle with responsibility of managing the economy are being found wanting .

We used to have selfless leaders who fought for our democracy.

Until people at helms of affairs begin to do what is needful, masses will not experience what true democracy is, let alone enjoying the dividends.

Why politicians fudge certificates

Aspiring political office holders would do everything to get to the positions.

Requirements for occupying any political positions is spelt out by INEC.

The requirements are straight forward, every aspiring candidates should have minimum O Level.

It is bizzaire to note that many political office holders fudge their O Level certificate result in order to be eligible for any political positions.

An incubent governor of Edo state would have to prove in the court of Law how he graduated from prestigious University of Ibadan with such a woeful O Level result.

It is not the first time a political office holders will be embroiled in certificate racketeering.

Who is to blame?
Who carry out the screening exercise, it is likely money has exchange hands .

An individual who could fudge his certificate would steal government money if voted for .

The body in charge of screening political office holders should wake up to their responsibility and jettison act inimical to our development.

Any office holders or aspiring found to have involved in certificate falsification should be dealt with according to the law of the land.

Opening of churches again!

Some churches are opened already, while others are warming up.

Re-opening of churches came with stringent rules put in place by government.

The rules didn't go down well with some religious leaders while others would comply with any rules to open their churches again.

Pastor of a church had said, opening a church now is synonymous to endangering lives of congregants.

It seems church leaders are divided over these mind boggling issues.

Should church remain close until covid-19 disappear into thin air?

After all , the just live by faith.

If all the rules are adhere to, spreading of the disease will be checked, even in the church .

Also, churches should be fumigated and all efforts geared towards reducing the pandemics.

Closing the church forever is not the anti-dote .

Politicians are not walking the talk .

As momentum is gathering  towards forth-coming election in Edo State.

Politicians were busy moving from places to places canvassing for votes.

Promises of giving masses good motorable  roads, clean pipe borne water are still  items in their manifesto  for soliciting for votes   .

Most of the contestants have occupied one position or the other in the past.

People have lost confidence in leadership and it is very difficult to believe them.

Talk is cheap, performance is everything. Individuals who have no transforming agenda should not be voted for.

Robbery attack in Isanlu and underpolicing..

Isanlu in Kogi central received evil visitors on penultimate Thursday.

Armed men numbering about 25 stormed an old generation bank and unleash terror on civilian and eight policemen.

Robbers invasion of banks is not new, they must have studied security loopholes in the area before the attack.

Urban areas are better police, criminals understand this too well.

Due to this fact, banks and financial establishment in rural areas are vulnerable.

It is also a statement of facts that our country as a whole is under police .

Recruitment of more police officers is of essence .. Government should ensure banking institution in developing areas are adequately police.

Video; Robbery today in Johannesburg.

Three-man robbery gang intercepted a bullion van carrying cash in transit.

The robbery was successful, but I don't understand why a vehicle carrying cash would not be heavily secured.

Where are the security convoy?

Another baffling thing in the video are people scampling to pick some notes on the floor .

Both the robbers and those that picked are both liable.

Do you still doubt covid-19 is real.Watch this video .

Are you still in doubt?

Arrest Auxillary now and his sponsors.
