Government should leave religious organisations alone.
CAMA (Company Allied Matters Acts.) introduced by Federal government to regulate religious activities is generating controversies already.
Government is seen to be meddling with sensitive religious matters, this may heat up the polity.
Intervention of government in religious matters should have nothing to do with appointment or
removal of trustees.
Strictly, they should face governance.
Religious leaders should be allowed to regulate their affairs.
Relationship between the two bodies should be symbiotic in nature.

University of Lagos in the eyes of the storm.
University of Lagos.
The current tides raging in the University Of Lagos had swept the vice chancellor of the institution.
Allegation of financial recklessness is hanging on his neck. The allegation was corroborated by the
Pro-Chancellor of the institution Dr Wale Babalakin.
University autonomy does not confers the right to mismanage funds meant for development of the institutions on the administrators.
Spending of forty nine million naira to refurbish a structure is out of this world.
Until we begin to bring public officers into accountability and mitigates moral decadence that has eaten deep into the fabrics of our system, our citadel of learning would not compete favorably with others all over the world.
Using the word of the Pro-Chancellor:Let Professor Ogundipe sue me for libel if he thinks he is not culpable.
We need to bring sanity into the system and relieve corrupt public officers of their duties.
If we do not get rid of corruption now, then, we would be sitting on a keg of gunpowder.

Evacuation of Nigerians from Lebanon commendable.
They are our compatriots, most of them are Nigerians. In a bid to improve their standard of living they headed to Lebanon with hope of better future which their country of residents can not provide.
Alas! they got it all wrong .The agencies that recruited them from Nigeria have deceived them.
Many of them worked as domestic servants and they are subjected whims and caprices of their slave master.
Some of them are sexually abused. Do you blame them?
Life is all about risk.
Blame government for their woes.

Magai Matiop.
South Sudan court have sentenced him to death.
He was barely fifteen years old when the judgement was passed.
Amnesty international want you and I to speak out against death sentence passed.
A juvenile should not be summarily executed.
Magai Matiop accidentally shot his cousin who later gave up the ghost.
The death sentence should be commuted to prison terms.
Any law that meted out capital punishment on young adult below 18 years should be repealed.

Death sentence passed by Sharia court for blasphemy.
An upper Sharia court has sentenced a singer to death.
He has not stolen anything or involved in robbery.
Alleged to have derogatorily spoken against holy prophet Mohammed.
Can a conventional court upturn the judgement of Sharia court?
If they can, something urgent must be done to reverse the judgement.
Capital punishment for such an offence in the 21st century is disturbing.
The man can be reprimanded, not eliminated.
