Three Robbers roasted in Oke-Iho.

Dare Devils robbers that invaded a branch of First Bank Of Nigeria in Oke-Iho Oyo state on Wednesday would not forget the experience in a hurry.

Three of the armed robbery syndicate were set ablaze while others escaped.

Some of these criminal gangs have restrategised lately. They target remote parts of the country , they understand the fact that breaking security architecture in the metroplolis may pose big challenge.

Police authority should spread their dragnet to remote part of the country and villages with less police presence.

Fleeing robbers should also be brought to justice.

Video; Attack on Bornu Governor convoy.

The executive governor of Bornu state came under heavy attack from Boko Haram.

Insecurity in the northern has reached alarming proportion. If a sitting governor could be ambushed,

Then common civilians are in trouble.

Death of undergraduate and casualisation of workers.

The death of Richard Gbadebo, a student of University Of Ibadan at a factory in Oluyole estate is intolerable.

Most of these factories do not put adequate safety measures in place. Nigeria Labour Congress on few occasions picket some of them, but after money had exchange hands, the status quo remain.

Workers are subjected to terrible work condition and those who are bold enough to complain are shown the exit door.

Staff welfare is nonexisting, workers who sustain injury during the course of discharging their duties are left to their fate.

Life of servitude begins here, unfortunately those who are saddled with responsibility of preserving sanctity of human life look away.

The young undergraduate might have lost his life in a despicable manner. Has any lesson been learnt?

The company in question have defective safety standard.

Urgent steps needs to be taken to avert future occurrence.

Casualization of workers is against labour law.

Oyo government marked houses for demolition.

Residents whose houses are marked for demolition by present administration in Oyo state are in dire straits.

They appealed to government to spare their houses. I could imagine pains in their heart.

A landlord becoming a tenant once again.Goverment is bent on bringing development to the people.

How do you make omelette without breaking an egg?

Those houses must come down, ....

Having state this, there should be adequate compensation for those that will be affected.

If there were proper planning, situation like this would not arise, but unfortunately this is where we find ourselves .

Stranded Students in UK ...

They are under the NDDC scholarship in Uk...

Nigeria students from this region are having tough times, the commission had failed to pay necessary fees on the scholarship terms.

Aftermath effects of impropriety in the commission are taking its toll on the students.

All the students have been abandoned and left to their fate.

Government should rescue these students from embarrassment.

I hope some of the stranded students would not take to crime.

Niger Delta leaders and government should redeem their image by paying up.

Train Stations naming Beneficiary .

The presidency reserved the right to name institutions and monuments after an individual.

Recently, some notable Nigerians have some train stations named after them.

Unexpectedly some key people were left out. Among them was, former president Obasanjo.

The former president have many places named after him, he may not really be bothered about train stations.

And more so, political undertone may not be overruled .

Naming of monuments after whoever is inconsequential .What is more important now is government should ensure right maintenance culture model is developed to maintain the trains and also see to it that the investment Is worth the while.

Asari Dokubo goofed?

How much is 81billion naira.
"Chikini" money compare to looting in the mainstream.

Former Niger Delta militant Mujaheed Asari Dokubo bare it all.

He is entitle to his view.

Come to think of it, he was once a freedom fighter.

Himself and others fought for emancipation of Niger Delta. May be, they were not really fighting for the people but for personal interest.

Two wrongs is not equal to right. Massive corruption in all government agencies is condemnable..

Utterances credited to Dokubo would encourage malfeasance and people of the region would become impoverish which will ultimately increase crime rate.

Why covid-19 may not be defeated now?

Covid-19 debilitating effects is well disseminated.

Not everyone believe it exist. My experience in Ifeleye market confirmed it only exist in some parts of the country and abroad.

Caught among sea of people competing with motorbike and citybus for a tiny space left after market women had display their wares on the road.

A fraction of the people which include myself wore facemasks.

Forget about social distancing, it does not exist in the market.

Except God stop covid-19.

We would not defeat it with our nonchalant attitude.

Stay safe.

Is Our democracy still nascent ?

Democratic experiment spanning 21 years, yet still nascent and convulsing.

Convulsing?

Yah, it is.

A former governor from South-South who was alleged of financial impropriety.

Still holding sway as a Minister of a commission set up to fight poverty in Niger Delta.

Now, the commissions is embroiled in a financial mess.

Punishment for corruption is just a slap on the wrist.

That is the reason they are not deterred.

The country we copied democracy from are doing things differently.

Twenty-one years experience on a job, and we are still acting like neophytes.

No! No.

It is unacceptable. Nigerians belongs to all.

Arrest of kids robbers and swelling number of out of school children.

                 KID ROBBERS.

They are kids.

But, they are not innocent.

Their stock in trade is armed robbery.

Laying siege on innocent motorist on the highway.

Obviously, they are misguided.

Society most of the time prepares crime people commits.

We have highest number of out of schools children, what do you expect.

They are to be reformed.

Sending them to prisons as a juvenile robbers would make them come out as an experience robbers.

There are many children roaming the street.

If we dont act on time ..

We may get more than we bargain for.

Lagos building collapse, Not an act of God.

Video HERE

Collapse building incidences are becoming perennial.

I could remember vividly, more than three building came down in Lagos preceding years.

Some school children were trapped in the building and some of them lost their lives.

Ever since that unfortunate accident occurred, what measures had been put In place to forestall recurrence?

Houses were built on flood drain, someone must have approved the building plans.

Some structures are as old as Methuselah and they need to be reinforced or pull down.

Collapse building incidences Is never an act of God, it is man made.

Until when people at helms of affair do the needful, nothing would change.

Civil service needs to be purge of corrupt officials that collects bribe to approve structures that violate extant building law

Robot as bodyguard.

Watch the video HERE

When men become unreliable. Machine is deployed to carry out his functions.

Robotics technology is future oriented, many factories uses robots to carry out difficult task.

Change is the only thing that is constant in life.

Technology has taken over everything and it would be practically impossible to accomplish anything without deployment of technology.

The only demerit I foresee about using robotics technology as bodyguard is that, what of if the machine fail to protect its principal... or it attack the wrong target due to programming error.

Technology do fails you know.

MY views; Police authority arrested erring officers.

Emi Wyclef( I am wycleaf). I told you I will catch you.

With all your juju......

These are some of the words of some policemen caught dehumanizing a lady caught with a robbery suspect.

The video went viral and police authority swung into action, those police officers have been promptly arrested.

Investigation should be conducted to set the record straight.

Law enforcement duties is for the intelligentsia.                           VIDEO HERE

The suspects was only interviewed in the video for few minutes, but the lady, who might have learnt her lesson that all that glitters is not gold, was thoroughly dehumanised.

It underscores the validity that gender base violence is like a second skin.

Nigeria Football League Should resume

I think Nigeria football league should resume.

There has been social distancing on our pitch, before incursion of covid-19.

How many people will go to Liberty stadium  to watch 3SC play.

We have many untapped potentials in sports

Footballers traveled many days on the road to play some  crucial matches. Some of them have lost their lives in the process.

Government insensitivity to sport development is impacting negatively on youths.

Sports could reduce crime rates, some youths are looking for Avenue to expend their energy.

But, because no one care to encourage them, the zeal and energy was channel wrongly

Enyimba football club would never forget Orji Uzor Kalu.

Fractions of cornered resources is enough to bring back our lost glory in sports

Abusive Fathers.

When fathers become abusive....

Abusive fathers are terrible,  .....They abuse their children and treat them with a lot of disdain.

Fathers are suppose to be gods to their children.

To protects, guide and meet their emotional and financial needs.

When father now become predators

Taking advantage of their children.

Having carnal knowledge of their female children. Then, it calls for urgent attention.

Defilement is an unpardonable sins.

Appropriate punishment should be meted out to abusive fathers.

Fathers who abuse their children are not fit to be called fathers,
.

9 Great Father Figures in TV Animation | The Mary Sue

Do we have any law protecting children from abusive parents? Alarming cases of child abuse is recorded on daily basis.

It is high time we gave it all the required attention it demanded.

Children are the leaders of tomorrow.

Tribute to Tolu Arotile.

She had become more popular in death. Many people have came out to register their condolences.

Her untimely death raised questions people in authority would need to answer. Tolu Arotile was reported to have been killed by a vehicle on reversed motion.

Didn't she notice the vehicle on reversed mode? Was she blindfolded?

Questions, endless enquiry would not bring her back to life.

One area government should look into is handling of emergency.

How we handle emergency in this part of the world leaves much to desire.

Who knows whether she was left on a stretcher unattended to for hours ?

The deeds is done. For those who could smelt a rat, further investigation If allow would reveal.

May her gentle soul rest well.

Leadership is the bane of our development.

Nigeria is neither a contraption nor zoo as describe by schools of thought.

Most populous country in Africa, giant in the continent. Bless with natural and human resources.

However, management of the endowment move to the wrong hands.

Once upon a time, leadership is selfless. It cut across all leadership strata, from rreligious, political and regional.

Political leaders like Nnamdi Azikwe, Obafemi Awolowo were true leaders.

Religious leadership is not left out. Many are called, chosen are few.

Some churches are mere business centers, God Is not there.

Leadership failure is tantamount to economy and sytem failure.

Until we get leadership right and we do things in orderliness and decorum, progress is not in view.

Arrest of Akinyele serial killers and dispensation of justice.

Police parades 19-year-old suspected serial killer of Barakat Bello, others in Oyo (photos)

After many unsuccessful attempt to end criminality and senseless killings in Akinyele Local Government Area in Ibadan.

Police authority  have been able to nabbed suspects involved in killing spree in Akinyele.

The suspects confessional statements revealed that the killings have ritual undertones.

Now that the arrest has been made, what next?

Some couple of years ago, some ritual killers were arrested in  Soka, nobody knows or hear anything about the trial.

There should be quick dispensation of justice.

Kudos to police authority for a sterling performance in restoring peace back to Akinyele.

NDDC - Is law gender biased?

Two individuals were indicted in an on-going NDDC probe.

Joy Nunieh and current Minister of Niger Delta are both in the eye of the storm.

But unfortunately, authority were bent on arresting only Mrs joy.

The last time I checked, Ministers do not have any form of immunity.

Is the law Gender biased?

Suffice to say, Governor Wike intervention save the poor woman.

Age barrier inconsequential in job .....

Propose bill to eliminate age barrier in job placement is laudable.

Most qualify individuals have been denied jobs due to age discrimination

More fruitful bills should be consider to ameliorate hard life citizens go through.

Experience should be a major criteria in job placement. Also, job placement should be on merit ñot on the catchment areas.

Putting round square in a round hole is the way to go.

Giving the jobs of a carpenter to a doctor would introduce decays into the system.

Merit should be the key word, age sex, state of origin are inconsequential. Nepotism would ground our economy and meaningful development would be elusive.

WAEC EXAM TO BE OR NOT...

The debate is going on and on..........

Students in terminal class may likely be deprived.

W.A.E.C is ready to conduct this year exam, but Nigeria government refused to give a nod.

Human race have never being this confused.

Government stand is commendable, but for how long are we going to be like this.

Let students write their exams under highly monitored covid-19 health protocols.

Organizer of the exam should reduce number of students that would sit down together to write the exam.

Many students that were ready for the exam may have been distracted .

A stitch in time saves nine.

NDDC PROBE IS REVEALING.

Niger Delta Development Commission was established by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in the year 2000.

The sole aim of establishing this commission is to develop Niger Delta region and provide succor for the citizens who has been marginalized.

Probe into the activities of NDDC is expository. Financial fraud to the tune of  multi billions naira has been perpetrated.

Those appointed to head the commission are from the region, one may be compel to ask why they are inflicting pains on their kinsmen.

Streams in Niger Delta are polluted, there is an extreme poverty in the region, yet those who are saddled with responsibility of making life easy is making it difficult.

Current Minister of Niger Delta have a lot of explanations to make to the impoverish people of the region.

Nigeria Doctors stopped from moving abroad.

Fifty eight medical doctors were stopped by the Nigeria Immigration officials from travelling abroad.

The reasons for stopping them was not known, but we were told only two of them have valid visas. Why didn't they allow the two that have valid visa to traveled? .

Large chunks of our doctors are relocating abroad, the reasons are not far-fetched.

Their counterparts in developed countries are well taken care of, they do not even know what is called industrial action.

Lagos state doctors are currently on strike. They call it warning strike.

Government have not met their demands, where are the protective clothing, their hazard allowance remain unpaid.

Why wont they relocate abroad?

Medical facilities are in shambles.

One of the doctors interviewed express her anguish, she was ready at all cost to ply her trade abroad.

It is their fundamental right to work wherever they choose.Rather than denying them opportunity to relocate.

Let them concentrate in building our health sectors and improve standard of living.

Extra-judicial killings, a case study of Offa robbery.

Do you still remember the image?
The image of the offa robbery scene where many innocent lives were wasted.

Gang of armed robbers invaded Offa and unleashed terror on innocent bank customers and passers-by.

Some of the suspects have been having their days in courts. Where are the others?

One of the suspects has revealed how information was extracted from him under duress. Micheal Adikwu and five others have been eliminated extra-judicially.

We have laws, but we choose the one to obey.

Many innocent people have been killed extra-judicially. If the police could kill as they desire, why do we have a court of law?

The court has the constitutional right to proclaim offenders as guilty.

Not allowing suspects to have their days in court may be another way to cover up some vital informations.

Killings of rival gang leader in Ibadan and perceived hopelessness among youths.

They would be satisfied now........

For taking  their pounds of flesh.

Cultist in Ibadan causes mayhem, and law enforcement seems to be docile.

Retaliatory attack was carried out on Abiola  Ebila on Sunday, his life was snuffed out.

The first casualty of the gang war was Moshood Ekugbemi who was killed  by faction loyal to Ebila.

Blame idleness for this senseless killings. Some of these youths are unemployed and can only see bleak future.

Politicians also uses them as political thugs and mercenary .

Cult related onslaught have been on since time immemorial, many teenagers and youths have paid the supreme price.

Society that failed to provide gainful  employment for his teeming youths   would have issue like this to grapple with,.

Okada riders in the eye of the storm as police switch.....

It is going to be a torrid task maintaining social distancing on a motor-bike popularly call okada.

So, government place a ban temporarily on okada to prevent community spread of covid-19.

Police authority have been ''wonderful' in enforcement of covid-19 extant laws.

As soon as inter-state barrier was removed, people can move from one state to another. It was a good news to most of the citizens, however, some corrupt officials who have been collecting bribes from commuters and motorist that violates the extant laws are not really happy.

That decision must have dawdle their daily contributions from proceeds of bribe..Little wonder, they went all out to arrest Okada riders who are continuously violating the order, because they "can not come and die".

While running after violators, one rider was killed accidentally. Where do we go from here?

How does enforcement of movement restrictions translates into taking someone life?

Government need to tame men in black before the situations snowball into anarchy.

Sexual Harassment Bill Timely.

It is still a bill, but it had scaled the second reading. Hopefully, anti- sexual harrassnent bill in our institutions will become laws.

Some incorrigible lecturers may have to stop from offering marks for sex or else they would be kept out of circulations for a while.

Relevants laws that would bring sanity into our system should be passed, that is the reason we voted them in the first instance.

Higher institution of learning is not set up for sexual proclivities, it is for academic work.

Lecturers who would need to struggle in taming their libido may as well resign or do time.

No to RAPE

Rape incidences is spiking up. Some lecherous individual would need more than a slap on the wrist.

As canvassed by concern citizens, twenty one years imprisonment and surgical removal of testicles will dettered would be offenders.

There may also be psychological angles to it. What would make a man raped a 3 month old baby?

No punishment is considered too severe for rape offenders

Ekiti State Government advocacy in blacklisting rapist is welcome.

https://www.jumia.com.ng/dliats-casual-athletic-lace-up-sneakers-in-red-and-black-43081084.html
All hands must be on deck to stave-off rape tendencies .

Some of these rape cases have rituals undertone. This is where security agencies needs to come in and arrest perpetrators and their sponsors.

A society that handles rapes with kid gloves would soon disintegrate.

Rape at universities: One program is proven to reduce it

Open the church NOW

Open the church now .....C.A.N.
The market remain open, while worship centers in Lagos and Ogun remain shut.

Domestic flights resume today, Lagos, being an epic centers is slowing down in opening worship centers.

A country like Kenya will not open any of their schools until January 2021. Government would not want to succumb to pressure to open worship centers in some states.

Figures of infected keep soaring, while some people are loosing the battles, few are recovering. I hope those that are given clean bill of health will not be re-infected?

Churches with large number of congregants may have swell time maintaining social distancing.

So, what is the way to go?

Should government open churches with fewer congregation and shut the one with huge number?

If corona virus refuse to go as anticipated, what becomes of individual constitutional right of worship?

Many questions begging for answer.

The bible talk about the just living by faith.

Where is the faith?.

Who is fooling who? Africa leadership flaws.

Africa has leadership problem, there is no doubt about that.

An average representatives of people from positions of councillors to president should live comfortably without stealing public funds.

I ask myself, why would a governor steal? Aside from greed, they have no business stealing our commonwealth .

It is sickening to learn that EFCC chairman who has been running after Yahoo boys and some big politicians could be indicted for the same offence.

He that will come to equity, needs to come with clean hands.

Policemen have the duty to arrest armed robbers, their conducts on the road have semblance of robbery.

Who Is fooling who?

Lagos SUBEB is doing well.

Lagos state universal board education effort in reaching children in suburb of the state is commendable.

Many of them got a gift of transistor radio that would allow them to learn on air.

All they need to do is to hook-up to the radio teaching program organised by SUBEB.

A thinking government would carry all and sundry along. Afterall, politicians comb all nooks and crannies during electioneering.

Qualitative education is an inalienable right of every child.

It is an act that should be emulated by others,
education should be given its pride of place.
