Rape in the church.

23-year-old UNIBEN student raped, murdered in church

Sacrilegious! sacrilegious!

Rape in the church!

Uwaila Omozuwa was a victim of depraved society.

She was accosted by weird individuals who have lost their minds and sense of reasoning. Gang raped in a church, the effect culminated to her death.

What a wicked world! Justice is demanded at all cost.

I hope the culprits are arrested and brought to book.

Right of women in the society at large needs to be protected .

It will also not be out of place if special court is establish to try rape offenders .

Protest accross 22 states in America signals....

Attack on men of colour rear it's ugly head again when George Floyd was killed.

Across 22 states, people came out in large numbers in an outpouring of rage to condemned in clear terms such a dastardly act and senseless killings.

From the look of things, people may not back down until justice is served.

The question begging for answer is that, will it be the last time men of colour would be exterminated?

The culprit has been charged for murder and manslaughter.

We would wait patiently, .....

BRT increase fares.

Lagos residents will have to brace up for tough times . Why?
.
The spike in price of everything has also affected transportation system. The management of Primero have reviewed their fares upward.

Government introduced BRT to alleviate pains of commuters in a metropolitan city like Lagos.

The regular yellow buses in Lagos are not regulated, what they charge now, is out of this world.

What is the hope of common man? Everything seems to be working against the poor.

Prices of food items is up, where do we go from here.

Video: Children begging for survival.

Children beg on the street and  no one cares. As long as their own children have regular school attendance.

Nigeria has the highest number of out of school children,  yet government is lax about education.

Vulnerable children are tools in the hands of men of the underworld, they can be brainwash and easily conscripted.

Government is spending  a lot  of money to fight insecurity, because education is not given adequate attention.

Children that begs now are potential threats tomorrow. If right steps are not taken to give every child compulsory education. There would be bleak future for those that are suppose to be leaders of tomorrow

Inept leadership is the bane of our developmental ambition as a country. It is imperative we choose the right people to govern us.

Any relief as economy gradually open up?

Economy is opening up, it is a cheering news

From total lock down to ease in lock down. Life of business and individual may not remain the same

Many countries are bracing up for post covid 19 era.

Most countries are facing major economic crises, health challenges and there is palpable fear among the people .
Some countries in Sub- Sahara Africa who have been neck deep in debt are looking for loans to revitalize their economy.

Prices of crude oil has fallen, government earning potentials is on decline.

When will life return back to normal ?

Adjusting to this new reality would take some time. The only option we have is to adjust to the new normal.

Man Inhumanity to man - Murder Of George Floyd

He kept saying he couldn't breathe,  yet, the four policemen did not budge until he gave up the ghost.
This is the story of George Floyd, a Minneapolis man that was killed by policemen. Culprits have been dismissed, but people thought dismissal does not commensurate with offence committed.

They want them charge for murder and prosecuted accordingly. Protesters in an outpouring of rage confronted law enforcement.

We are all citizens of the world, justice must be served, this will  deter  other overzealous police officers.

Kogi index covid-19 case and government lackadaisical approach.

First ever they say! Kogi has recorded covid-19 case .Without much ado, NCDC should intensify efforts to carry out more test.

Leadership of the state were not co-operating with diseases control agency.

iv>
NCDC officials were asked to self isolate before they could be allow to perform their functions in the state .

Kogi State is now in the eye of the storm with this index case. Before now, it looks as if the state has immunity against the virus.

Summarily, government of the state did not take the issues very seriously, but with the index case, everyone must wake up or else......

Politicians politicise everything, I hope a lesson was learnt from Kano.

Graphic video; Cult related killings .

You will wonder as I did after watching this disturbing video .

Is it because some of our youths have suddenly become hopeless, that is why they indulge in social vices such as cultism and armed robbery.

Not only did these guys committed murder, they have the effrontery to film it.

The young man that was killed was barely twenty years old .

These are supposedly leaders of tomorrow.

Where do we go from here?

Enrolling Almajiris children in Schools.

Almajiris children are not to be thrown out like packs of dust.

They are wonderful children created by God.

Every child has fundamental right to compulsory education. Governor of Kaduna State is taking the bull by the horn to tackle illiteracy which is the basis of poverty in the north.

Northern governor's may need to emulate good gesture of EL-Rufai by ensuring all Almajiris children are compulsorily enroll in schools.

Good governance is not about amassing wealth or building monuments that are not beneficial.

If government can reduce population of aimless wandering children which will later grow into adulthood and become terrorist, then, insecurity will be checked.

How to protect our wards from Corona virus when school re-open.

Government should think of modalities to re-open our schools.

Online learning is good, but it can not replace four walls of classrooms.

My concerns is for our little children in primary schools. How are we going to shield them from devastating effect of Covid -19?

Masks wearing, social distancing e .t c are some of the precautionary measure s to avoid spread of the pandemic.

Some adult are finding it difficult to uphold supposedly this knotty instructions.

How much more children?

Are we going to wait until the vaccines is discovered before our children return to schools?

I think, one of the way to practice social distancing in schools is to reduce children population in the classroom.

This may appear to be daunting, especially in a densely populated public schools.

Schools administrators should begin to strategize now, a stitch in time saves nine.

D.P.O shot sergeant dead for..,..

A police seargent was alleged to have been shot dead by superior officer who happens to be a Divisional Police Officer.

News have it that, the culprit claimed the victim was shot and killed by armed bandits.

If a seniour officer could be intemprate and unable to control his emotion, then what are we suppose to expect from ranks and files.

Is Shooting a subordinate best approach to express anger?

Any individual that will carry riffles should be able to pass anger test.

Policemen that have anger problem are accident waiting to happen.

If they can kill one of their own, how safe are the masses?

Journeying through the desert for a greener pastures.

If I had known life I was searching for is looking at me right in the eye - This is a song composed by a popular music star.

Many undocumented Africa immigrants have been risking their lives across Sahara desert. The journey is long and torturous, and many immigrants never made it.

They traveled from Libya where they are enslave and female among them raped. People are ready to put their life on the line to change their lives.

Government should be blamed- Africa leaders are insensitive and inept.

Corrupt leadership will breed poverty and hopelessness.

Youths should be told the truth that journey through the desert is suicidal.

It is not worth the while.

What is your view?

How covid-19 impacted education.

Covid-19 is reshaping our existence on daily basis.Educational sector will also not  be left out.
Whether school should re-open now or not is a big question we would need to provide answer to.

All sectors including education has been impacted by the pandemic.Though, on-line learning is on going.

Can online study adequately replace being in the four wall of classrooms. What about students in the rural area?

In a country where the power supply is erratic, how reliable is online learning?

Stake holders in education sectors should think outside the box in order to spread learning to students that are indigent and also disadvantage.

Every students right is qualitative education, and the right should be inalienable.

Video; Meet Ope, the mastermind of AkeugbaGold twins.

He betrayed his boss, just like Judas among the disciples .He masterminded abduction of AkeugbaGold twins.

Substantial part of the recovered ransom paid was found with him. Before now, he was not popular.

Ope is now popular for the wrong reason. According to Nigeria law, he is still a suspect despite making confessional statement until he is proven guilty.

Life is a teacher, I know his life would never remain the same again. People who sow bile into other people will not reap sweetness.

If he is lucky to be alive after the dusk settle .

Almajiris Influx to other states calls for concern.

Mass Exodus of Almajiris from the North to South has been on-going.

Reasons for fleeing from the Northern part of the country in the face of strict movement restrictions is still unknown.

Government had since banned inter state travels, but compliance level is discouraging.

Almajiris have been smuggled into other states under the guise of bringing essentials to those states.

Africa had recorded low incursion of Covid 19 pandemic compare to West and other developed countries.

Out of every truck loads carrying the Almajiris into South, a significant numbers of them may be covid-19 positive .

How do we now check their influx into other states when law enforcement agents are regularly compromising.

Yet, we want to get rid of Covid -19 as soon as possible.

How soon will this dream become a reality?

VIDEO: Robbery caught on camera.

Lazy youths expended their energy in making some people cry.Imagine these agile youths channeling their energy to something productive.

Police authority have a job to do, the ferocity in their operation could have spell doom to the owner of the house if they had succeeded in breaking the door.

Accuracy of covid-19 infected person data in developing country.

All of a sudden we are turning a new leaf!
We are not used to taking data.
The last census conducted was marred with a lot of irregularities .Ask them about current infant mortality rate, they begin to mumble figures .

But, ever since Covid 19 incurs into our society we have been keeping tracks .

Question begging for answer is that , how accurate are those data?

Data such as - 5621 confirmed case.
1726 death, 1472 recoveries.

Going by our antecedents in data falsifications. Are this information totally correct?

The new normal in transport system.

Things are changing rapidly, prevailing circumstances is defining how we do things.

It is now ideal for tricycles operators to carry only two passengers, as against four.Three at the back and one passenger sharing a seat with rider.

A commercial bus popularly call danfo can only carry six passengers as against fourteen.

An urban transportation bus like BRT with 99 passengers standing and 50 seating has also complied with the new normal.

By the time air travels commences, they would also not be left out.

Transportation system have been greatly re-organised and other sectors are not left out.

Human being are created to be resilence, as long as covid-19 remain in the air, we have got to adapt.

W.H.O; Covid-19 has come to stay.

Going by the statement released by World Health Organisation, it is most likely that covid-19 has come to stay .

It has become intractable because it is novel. Bacteria disease such as malaria, has been combated over the years.

Viral disease such as H.I.V, though not curable could be manage.

People may not have any option than learning  to live with the ailment.

Lifestyle, economy and interaction may not be the same again, it is just the new normal.

If W.H.O assertion is right, then we are all in the eye of the storm.

Like Kogi , Like Kano; A stitch in time saves nine .

It is somewhat difficult to believe that Kogi state has not recorded any Covid 19 infection .

NCDC officials were in the states to verify the claims that no one has tested positive to covid-19.

After government has place a ban on foreign travels, community spread has become the order of the day .

This inform governor's forum decision to ban inter state commuting.

Now, many individuals have been violating this directives .People have been sneaking into other states with reckless abandon.

A state like Kogi should be thoroughly investigated to avoid disaster .

One could recalled how Kano states handled it with  kiddies gloves, the result is overwhelming .

Government should not leave Kogi alone until due deligence is carried out.

A stitch in time saves nine .

Churches as ISOLATION CENTERS.

The church should be use as isolation centers.

That is not a bad idea. Religious leaders can come together to lend a helping hands to government in fighting corona virus.

More importantly, government should open up churches for prayers under stringent rules.

Congregants should be provided with certain rules which must be adhere to.

As scientist are working on the vaccines formulations, religious leaders should seek spiritual antidote to the dreaded virus.

Matters arising; Demolition of hotels in Rivers State.

Every society is govern by law.

Any act of lawlessness bring about anarchy.

Governnment enacted quarantine law to contain the spread of deadly Corona virus..

Guest house, hotels and many businesses are to be on lock down while the virus is still raging.

Now, for every laws, there are penalty.
Pulling down of structures is not suppose to be the penalty for violating quarantine law.

Executive needn't to be intemperate. People are tense already, government need to be more magnanimous towards meeting the need of the people.

Destroying peoples means of livelihood is like adding salt to injury.

Video;;Policeman fired a shot at ........

Policeman firing a shot at innocent man. The question begging for answer is this -  Should every police officers handle firearms?

Lives have been lost due to incessant extra judicial killings by our law enforcers.

Police authority would need to investigate this video and bring erring officer to book.

Pondering about post covid-19 era

I pondered.
How many Christians will return to church when the door is open.

Aren't we used to listening to sermon while lying on our bed.

How many children would return to school after this pandemic is gone.

Are the parents still financially bouyant to pay the school fees .

How many home would still be intact. Compulsory holiday had done more damage than good in homes.

How soon are we going to say bye bye to facemasks.

How soon are we going to breathe efficiently without inhibition. For those that we loose their jobs, will there be succor from the government?

I ponder!

My covid-19 holiday experience.

The night guard shouted thief! thief!
I got quite a jolt when the night guard slammed the gate
He shouted e ma sun o (dont dare to sleep), they are here o.
Who are they? They are product of our defective system..
You know society created crime people commits. I was trying to dial 615, fear would not allow me. I felt like going to the toilet.
At the end of the day, we are safe.
This is my covid-19 holiday experience.
What government should do is to reduce army of unemployed youths in order to reduce crime rates.
Some people are not that lucky.

Covid-19 Millionaires.

Law enforcement agents are having swell time in controlling mass exodus of people from one place to another.

Government are yet to lift  restrictions on inter-state movement, yet no one seems to be complying.

Little wonder, the figure  keep soaring.

It is also a statement of facts that covid-19 has made some people very comfortable.

Some of these people are those that diverted palliatives which was meant for the vulnerable.

Also, some law enforcement agents are smiling to the banks.

Seriously speaking, covid-19 would not go until we are dead serious to pay the price of discipline.

Police Officer Images, Stock Photos & Vectors | Shutterstock

One of the prices of discipline is to stay at home.

Come to think of it, how can we stay at home without foods.

A long way to go!
