God is a teacher.

Teaching is a noble profession. There Is a difference between child abuse and corporal punishment.

Allegation of child abuse leveled against Deeper Life High School Uyo leaves much to desire.

Some teachers thought we were still in stone age. Cane is meant to correct a child not to kill them, I once told my son teacher.

The school has bad publicity already as a result of untamed behaviour of the their management.

The woman should go ahead and sue them to serve as deterrents to others .Children are priceless gift, they should not be dehumanize.

A frustrated individual should take another profession not teaching.

Mind you, God is a teacher.

World toilet day and how to stop open defecation

Every normal human being defecate. It is a biological process which is experience almost on daily basis.

Unfortunately, many individual does not have access to clean and efficient toilet facility, especially in our rural areas.

Open defecation is prevalent in some big cities and the attendants effects is disturbing.

Government can discourage open defecation by providing mobile toilet in some area where there are no toilet, most especially where there are large numbers of homeless individual.

Deal of the day

corrupts, absolutely corrupts.

When they pay you a visit. They must leave with handout. Their visit is official but their intention Is different.

If you like meet all the requirements. You must part with something.

You could see their protruding stomach contendng with their clothes.

It has become a second skin.

It is a failed system. The female among them are as bad as the male.

On Sunday and Friday they go to worship holy God, yet they remain filthy.

Two robbers sent to hell.

Robbery suspects.

The two-man robbery syndicate were not lucky this time around. They must have had their days, days of enjoying another man hard earned money.

It is also possible they thought nothing would happen to them because they are well fortified with some charms and weapons.

Penultimate Wednesday was the day they would have enjoyed their stolen cash except that some angry youths would not have any of their nonsense.

They were chased vigorously after violently robbing a business man. They were beaten to stupor and set ablazed.

Everyday for the thief, one day for owners.

Job creations and poverty reductions .....

Jobs availability have been few and far between. The economy is biting hard and government has been borrowing endlessly.

In a time like this, some countries are spending from their reserve. Country who have depleted what is left in their reserve will face serious economic downturn.

Government will have to intentionally reduce cost of governance. Our democracy is the most expensive in the world, yet we are the world poverty capital, what an irony!

Creation of conducive environment will definitely allow jobs creation and reduce poverty. Senseless taxation and imposition of obnoxious levies on budding  entrepreneurs should be discouraged.

Wealth creation is the responsibility of government and masses ..

All hands must be on deck to reduce poverty.

8 feared dead in stampede as Port-Harcourt residents justle for Christma...(video)

They have intention of partaking out of the free gift shared by an organization to impoverish citizens/. Unfortunately, unexpected happened close to eight people feared dead while scampering for palliatives.

It is a common knowledge that there is poverty in the land. Many Nigerians lives below poverty line.

We do not have to struggle for everything, organizers of such program should have envisaged surge in crowd and would have put effective crowd control measures in place.

Human life should not be treated with disdain because of piece of bread.

It is high time we learned to treating people right....

How to defeat BOKO HARAM

Computing Category

Government can conquer insurgency if they really want to. Some countries like Algeria defeated terrorism because of determination and political will on the path of their leaders.

Abductions of over three hundred students is a pointer to the facts that government is not doing enough to make terrorism a thing of the past.

These criminals explore our weakness and threaten our territorial integrity.

How long will it take us to win this war, if we need help from international organizations, we should beckon on them to help us.

We can not continue to live in fear and trepidation.

Primary role of government is to secure life and properties.

Famine imminent as Boko Haram killed..

If they can succeed in decimating people that feeds the nation, then there will be hunger in the land.

Boko Haram silenced forty innocent farmers on their farmlands.

Insecurity has reach cresendo.

It is either government go after these bandits and exterminate them or lives of citizens become unsafe.

What sorts of government will fold it's hands while his citizens suffers untold hardship..

They have lost it completely. If government fails to protect her citizens, it is as good as not having government in place.

It Is a sorry case!

Emergence Of Akerodolu and future democratic experiment.

                             ONDO STATE ELECTION

Ondo state indigenes have returned Governor Akerodolu to power by their "votes" .

Incidences of vote buying was also rife among electorates. Politicians are swift to

denied that money exchange hands between them and the electorates that filed out to

 cast their votes.

Our nascent democracy would get better if we are serious about making it to work.

Electronic voting is also a possibility, we have what it takes technologically to introduce e-voting.

Voting buying is inimical to our collective  developmental stride and it should be discourage.

Begging leaders to work.

Most radio programs allow listeners to phone in.

Listeners most of the time beg their leaders to perform their statutory duties.

A caller said" Please tell NEPA to give us light o".

Another caller said" The road to his house is bad, tell government to fix it"

Leadership by begging.

Where is their sense of duty?

Citizens must beg them to perform their duties.

Selfless leadersdhip has eluded us .Who begged Awolowo to introduce free basic education.

Do we need to beg before major roads are free of potholes. Are they not aware that pot holes could cause accident?

They draw their salaries from tax payers money and our commonwealth.

Begging people to perform their jobs is sickening.

Pastor shot wife...

He would now be held for first-degree murder.

A pastor followed his wife to the police station where she went to report him.

Hail of bullets fired from his gun killed the better half.

What could make a pastor shot and killed his wife? Resist the Devil and he would flee.

Was the Devil resistested?

It is rather unfortunate, many things are going to change.

His freedom would now be restricted.
Strike the shepherds and the sheep would disappear.Jumia offers

The church will definitely become empty.

Oh! What a world.

Benue warlord despatch to Hell.

Benue most wanted criminal paid the supreme price.

He was shot and killed by soldiers after he surrendered and embraced the amnesty program.

Over time, governmentt had been slapping terrorist on the wrist. They call it amnesty......

Boko Haram terrorist are beneficiary of the amnesty largesse. Our debt profile has risen to 31 trillion naira, yet we still waste scarce resources on "rehabilitation" of criminals.

What happens If government fails to sustain the amnesty program due to paucity of funds?

Once a foot soldier is forever a soldier.

Killing of Gana is commendable .

Tax payers money would have been use to train someone who had killed many innocent people in the name of amnesty.

How to reduce crimes...

Many Nigerians are living below the poverty lines.

Come to think of it, poverty is not a crime, but it is criminal to acquire riches by hook or crook.

Crime rates are on the increase, especially in a state like Lagos.

Criminal elements are devising new techniques of inflicting pains on their victims.

Commercial bus popularly called danfo is being used in executing  this crime most of the time.

Innocent passengers who boarded such vehicles are robbed at gunpoint.

The national union of road transport workers management in collaboration with law enforcement should put measures in place to check these criminal elements.

A government that can not provide adequate security for it's citizen is failing in her responsibility.

Effective police patrol would reduce incursion of bad guys in the metropolis.

Provision of gainful employment to thousands of unemployed would go a long way to stem the tide of crimes.

Effort should be geared towards compulsory vocational  training for jobless youths.  https://c.jumia.io/?a=28953&c=11&p=r&E=kkYNyk2M4sk%3D&utm_campaign=28953&s5=Larrybsba

Crime free society  is not feasible but it could be reduced to barest minimum.

Restoration Of National Stadium

The National Stadium was built for sporting events.

Contrary to it's purpose of establishment, National Stadium in Surulere had become decrepit and an eyesores

Due to poor maintenance, it had become a shadow of itself.

Ejection of occupants of the facility is a step in the right direction.

If government could promote sports, youths would rechannel their energy into productive ventures.

Leaving a monuments such as National Stadium to rots away is a failure of leadership.  JUMIA OFFERs

The last time a football competition was played at Nationsl Stadium Surulere was in the year 2004.

Sport development is key, it should be given it's pride of place.

Rise in road carnage caused by...

Recently, accident caused by articulated vehicles carrying containers has been on the increase.

Two souls were lost along Apapa Oshodi Expressway due to negligence of logistics company handling these sectors of the economy.

Concerns citizens have decried insensitivity on the part of those who are saddle with responsibility of enforcing traffic law for allowing this nonsense to fester.

It is cheering to see some articulated trucks carrying container some few weeks ago fasten to the trucks.

Do we need to wait until irreversible happens before we do the right thing.

How sustainable would this be?

Enforcement of rules like this should be total, if we are really serious about protecting sanctity of lives.

We have brains, let us begin to use it.

Police recruitment exercise

They all filed out in their white short knickers, round neck and snickers.

They are applicants who have shown interest in joining our police force.

Young and agile boys and girls in their twenties.

Some of them may not really know what it entails to be police officers.

The entire police force needs purging. Recruiting new entrants without overhauling is like adding bad apple to good one.

It is a matter of time....

It would contaminate the good ones .

Policing is critical to development, police officers should conduct themselves professionally.

Also, qualified candidates should be given the jobs.

Trader caught with human feaces...

Many work their finger to the bone.
Hard work pays, that is what we are taught.
But, culture of hard work is being eroded.

Reasons may be because values have gone to the dogs.

Leaders of thought believed there is no short cut to success.

Every true great men pay the prices of greatness.

Those that didn't want to pay any price still ended up paying huge prices.

What price is greater than eating loaf of bread with excreta because you want to be rich and popular.

The story of a trader caught with human excreta and bread in Sango market is nauseating .

I'll gotten riches would go the way it comes. His shop was looted and he is back to square zero.

Half a million bounty on Serial killer.

500,000 naira bounty.

From police, to whoever could divulge information on how Sunday Shodipe the Akinyele serial killer could be tracked, arrested and brought to justice.

Police authority are being paid from our taxes.

It simply means tax payers money would be use if they are ever successful in arresting the criminal.

Half a million could sink a functional borehole for community that have challenges with portable water.

Tax payers money should be use judiciously.   Jumia mouth watering offers.

Men in black are paid to work. There should be zero tolerance for incompetence.

Tuesday, August 18, 2020

Government should leave religious organisations alone.

CAMA (Company Allied Matters Acts.) introduced by Federal government  to regulate religious activities is generating controversies already.

Government is seen to be meddling with sensitive religious matters, this may heat up the polity.

Intervention of government in religious matters should have nothing to do with appointment or

 removal of trustees.

 Strictly, they should face governance.

Religious leaders should be allowed to regulate their affairs.

Relationship between the two bodies should be symbiotic in nature.

Man inhumanity to man

It is amazing and unthinkable how people arrogate powers of the state to themselves

A man in Kano decided to lock up his son for seven years or three years as he claimed because of drug addiction.

His house has become rehabilitation center.

Man inhumanity to man.

In a other clan people who commits such a heinous crime may not see daylight for the rest of their life.

Unfortunately , reverse is the case. Very soon the accused would be going about his normal business as if nothing happens.

The law should take it's course. It is barbaric and evil.

University of Lagos in the eyes of the storm.

Image result for IMAGE OF UNILAG

        University of Lagos.

The current tides raging in the University Of Lagos had swept the vice chancellor of the institution.

Allegation of financial recklessness is hanging on his neck. The allegation was corroborated by the

Pro-Chancellor of the institution Dr Wale Babalakin.

University autonomy does not confers the right to mismanage funds meant for development of the institutions on the administrators.

Spending of forty nine million naira to refurbish a structure is out of this world.

Until we begin to bring public officers into accountability and mitigates moral decadence that has eaten deep into the fabrics of our  system, our citadel of learning would not compete favorably with others all over the world.

Using the word of the Pro-Chancellor:Let Professor Ogundipe sue me for libel if he thinks he is not culpable.

We need to bring sanity into the system and relieve corrupt public officers of their duties.

If we do not  get rid of corruption now, then, we would be sitting on a keg of gunpowder.

A Dismissed soldier he was.

The "gentle man" threw caution to the wind as he pounced on female police officer.

Long arm of the law has caught up with him.

An average uniform personnel lacks sense of decorum in dealing with people.

Government should re-enlist him and send him to restive areas.https://bit.ly/3iW3SiD

Rather than expending his energy unnecessarily on hapless, he could as well make most of his combatant skill in restive areas.

Evacuation of Nigerians from Lebanon commendable.

150 Nigerian Ladies Stranded In Lebanon To Deported | Information ...

They are our compatriots, most of them are Nigerians. In a bid to improve their standard of living they headed to Lebanon with hope of  better future which their country of residents can not provide.

Alas! they got it all wrong .The agencies that recruited them from Nigeria have deceived them.

Many of them worked as domestic servants and they are subjected whims and caprices of their slave master.

Some of them are sexually abused. Do you blame them?

Life is all about risk.

Blame government for their woes.

Help free Magai from death row | Amnesty International

             Magai Matiop.

South Sudan court have sentenced him to death.

He was barely fifteen years old when the judgement was passed.

Amnesty international want you and I to speak out against death sentence passed.

A juvenile should not be summarily executed.

Magai Matiop accidentally shot his cousin who later gave up the ghost.

The death sentence should be commuted to prison terms.

Any law that meted out capital punishment on young adult below 18 years should be repealed.

Blue eyes woman soars.

It was not a blind date.
He was fully aware her eyes were blue when he proposed.

Now, he had fell out of love. Leaving her all alone to cater for the children.

God who created the two blue eyes knew her glory would begin to shine the moment the fair weather husband abadon her.

Finally, the glory have begun to shine.

An NGO in collaboration with First Lady of the state have come to her aid.

Kausarat can now go to school, .

It is a dawn of new day.

Stylishly the fair weather husband may want to come back.

Ultimately, her rejection paved way for her.

Jungle justice is primitive...

Two  teenagers, probably below 18.

After stripping them, they were thoroughly beaten.

While some on lookers screamed bloody murder, others were indifferent.

Little petrol is all they needed, in a twinkle of an eye, they were set ablazed.

They should have been handed over to law enforcement agencies. They took law into their hands. The allegation of phone theft ended their lives.

Jungle justice is only practise in a jungle .I know Africa is not a jungle, then, why do we practise it?

Those children could be reformed. Tony Rapu had reformed many wayward teenagers.

Africa leaders must wake up and take bulls by the horn .If all they live for is how to amass wealth, then it is a sorry case.

Someday, everyone would pay for their deeds.

Death sentence passed by Sharia court for blasphemy.

Photo of the Hausa singer sentenced to death by hanging for blasphemy

An upper Sharia court has sentenced a singer to death.

He has not stolen anything or involved in robbery.

Alleged to have derogatorily spoken against holy prophet Mohammed.

Can a conventional court upturn the judgement of Sharia court?

If they can, something urgent must be done to reverse the judgement.

Capital punishment for such an offence in the 21st century is disturbing.

The man can be reprimanded, not eliminated.

As churches open in Lagos; Health protocols measures need to be enforced.

Little by little.

Churches are coming back.

Ten percent of churches with fairly large crowd open.

Mega churches, are strategizing.

Crowd control is of great essence in curtailing spread of covid 19.

It is axiomatic, some member may not necessarily comply with health protocols issues put in place.

Church may need to set up task force to compel erring members who would find it difficult to obey simple rule of engagements.

It is the new normal, whoever is not ready to comply may continue to worship online.

Nigeria Medical Associations Election Fraught With Violence.

Elections have become war in our clans.

Not only politicians are culpable now.

We have seen professionals like medical doctors, lawyers not being able to conduct simple election without violence.

Elections to a large extent has become a do or die affairs.

Although, every human being is a political animal, elections should be handle with more sense of decorum.

If association such as NMA(Nigeria Medical Association) find it difficult to conduct free and fair election, then what do we expect from core politicians

video :Passengers escaped ritual killings.

All of a sudden, boarding a commercial bus from a park license by government with a park manager appointed by government could be as risky as entering "sole"(undocumented vehicles)..

Testimonies of passengers on Lagos bound bus who suddenly change his route to Oyo after most of the passengers have slept off is an eye opener to the fact  that we are sitting on gun powder.

Providentially, the passengers were rescued from ritual drivers who would have sold them to human parts traders.

Police most of the time don't like to delve into issues like this as narrated by one of the victims whose evidence was about to be confiscated.

Who are those saddled with responsibility of managing that park?

Who is safe now?

Boko Haram in the North.
Ritual killers in the South .

ROT IN THE MILITARY ...

The military formations I know, lower-ranking officers always obey their superior.

Military men are trained to carry out instructions given by their seníour.

An officer may be arraign for mutiny if he does otherwise.

 Nowadays, things have really changed.

A low-ranking officer could video himself maligning the personae of a General in the army.

More often than not, you may not blame them.

When soldiers lacks sophisticated  weapons to confront their enemies.

Frustrations may sets in and caution thrown to the wind.

Goverment has roles to play.  No army would win modern war with primitive artillery.

Our soldiers need to be commended and saluted for the bravery they ve displayed over the years.

Covid-19, Aviation industry badly hits

The staff pruning.
In aviation, began with Airpeace airlines.

Bristow follow suits.
100 pilots were sacked.

Economy is really bitting hard.
I wonder if any lifeline was given to aviation industry from the government.

The downturn in aviation would definitely have ripple effects on other industry.

Virgin Atlantic has file for bankruptcy.

Government bail out is needed.

To safe further collapse of one of the most important industry.

No thanks to the pandemics. For a country like ours who has not saved for the rainy day.

Post covid experience may be unbearable.
